One missed info on the ASRock. the SSD daughterboard also has the ethernet controller. remove it and you lose the ethernet ports.

I heard ROG Strix X470-I gaming can die really easily. Have you heard of this?

Also, would this board work with a AMD Ryzen 7 2700X and the AMD Wraith Vengeance CPU cooler?

An important video on why you should always rewatch your videos as a post edit and even invest in a script, there were a lot of times that you carelessly contradicted yourself

I always build these monstrous gaming PCs but I'm thinking about building a micro ITX. The only cards I use is a GFX card and a soundblaster (I compose music). That's about it. It'll be used for gaming, Cinema 4D Studio and my music software.

I am currently using the Asus X470-I Gaming motherboard and it's a nice board but there's 2 issues I have come across that people should be aware of. The USB ports on the rear of the card are too close together, I use 5 of the ports for a Corsair K70 keyboard, the mouse, a BenQ Screenbar and usb speakers. I have a XBox One controller that I have to use wired to the computer because there's no room to plug in the wireless controller due to how close together the usb ports are to each other and the case I'm using doesn't have any front mounted IO ports (Louqe Ghost S1). My other issue is using a 2nd M.2 on the bottom of the motherboard causes it to get very hot under load while gaming. I was using a Samsung 970 pro 512gb for OS and a 970 Evo 2tb for games and storage. The 2tb M.2 would hit temps over 100 degrees Celsius while gaming. Due to the design of this case, the motherboard is on one side and the video card is on the other, with the M.2 on the rear of the motherboard being sandwiched between the 2 of them. During gaming the video card's putting out heat, the M.2 is generating heat from read and writes to it and the cpu is generating heat. This case doesn't have any sort of way to increase the airflow other than the cpu cooler and the fans on my video card. I've opted to use the 2tb as both the OS drive and storage for all my games and stuff so I eliminated the problem of having the M.2 prematurely die on me for being constantly under overheating conditions.

Very nice video. I especially like the fact that the ROG Strix 470i has 6 PWM's for solid oc'ing and longer life proctection. You can't get that, really, for m-atx
